1. Go to Finance and click Contracts
2. Click Concessions
3. Click New
4. Select the State from the drop-down field. Select TAS
5. Select the Type from the drop-down field. There are two options, Waiver and Concession. Waiver is a full exemption from the student fees, while Concession is the reduced amount that the student pays. For this tutorial select Waiver
6. Once waiver is selected, the Category and the Concession amount is automatically selected as Discount and 100%.
7. Enter a Name and a Description for your concession discount.
8. Click Save
9. Click OK to confirm.
10. You can also create a Concession type. Click New
11. Follow the same steps as before by selecting the State. For the Concession type, select Concession
12. Select a category from the drop-down. You can choose Rate or Discount. Rate is the concession amount that the student pays. Select Rate
13. Fill in the Name and Description for this Concession.
14. Enter the dollar value that the student will pay as the concession amount.
15. Click Save
16. Click OK.
17. If you choose to create a Concession discount instead of Concession rate, follow the steps in creating Concessions as before. In the category, select Discount. Concession discount reduces the original fee with the amount indicated here.
18. Complete the Name and Description field. In the Concession Amount, you can choose whether the discount is applied as a fixed dollar value or a percentage of the fees.
19. Enter the amount in the box. Click Save
20. Click OK.
21. That's it! You have now created your Concessions for Contracts in the SMS.
