How to Edit eStore Settings

Overview

This article will provide an in-depth guide on the essential settings for your Store. We will cover various aspects, including configuration options, customisation features, and best practices to ensure your Store operates smoothly and efficiently. This article will be divided into four parts, each corresponding to a different setting under Store Settings.

Ensure that your account has administrative privileges to enable you to configure the eStore settings. Only accounts with admin access can modify critical settings, manage users, and customise the store's functionality.

PART 1 - BRAND SETTINGS

In this section, you can customise the visual aspects of your eStore. This includes options for changing the layout, selecting logos, and adjusting color scheme to match your brand identity. To navigate to this section, click on "Store Settings," then select "Brand Settings."



Here are the elements you can modify in this section:

  1. Dark Logo - Add a dark version of your logo.
  2. Light Logo - Add a light version of your logo.
  3. Favicon - Add a favicon logo; this will be displayed in the browser's address bar next to the tab name.
  4. Title Text - Or Title Tag, is displayed as the title in your browser tab
  5. Footer Text - This will be displayed in the bottom part of the site, in the copyright area.
  6. Date Format - Select your preferred date format.
  7. Time Format - Select your preferred time format.
  8. Right-to-left (RTL) - Enable if you are using a language written from right to left.
  9. Primary Color Settings - Add a primary color for your store; you may use a dominant color from your logo.
  10. Sidebar Settings - Select your preferred format (Transparent or Non-transparent).
  11. Layout Settings - Select your preferred format (Dark or Light).
Click on the "Save Changes" button located in the lower right corner of the page to save the modifications you have made.

PART 2 - STORE SETTINGS

The majority of store settings can be located here. Please provide the accurate information to complete the setup. To navigate to this section, click on "Store Settings," then select "Store Settings."



Below are the fields available for modification:
Some fields are straightforward; just fill in the requested information.
  1. Store Logo
  2. Store Name
  3. Email - Admin email
  4. Homepage Link - You may add your own website to this field.
  5. Store Link - Your e-store link, no need to change it, as it is automatically provided.
  6. Tagline
  7. Address
  8. City
  9. State
  10. Zipcode
  11. Country
  12. Store Default Language
  13. Decimal Number Format
  14. Is Checkout Login Required
  15. Blog Menu Display - Toggle Blog on the Store's navigation bar to Enable/Disable.
  16. Google Analytic
  17. Facebook Pixel
  18. Store Custom JS
  19. Meta (Keywords/Description/Image) - Tags that you can utilise to provide search engines with additional information about a page's content.
  20. Product Page Label
  21. Product Page URL - No need to change it, as it is automatically provided.
  22. Product Category Page Label
  23. Product Category Page URL - No need to change it, as it is automatically provided.
PART 3 - PAYMENT SETTINGS

All payment gateways can be configured on this page. By default, Payrix and Stripe are the two available gateways. To navigate to this section, click on "Store Settings," then select "Payment Settings."



You can toggle the switch to enable or disable each gateway. Then, use the arrow up/down button to reveal or hide the gateway's settings.



Payment is a critical aspect of your business, so it's vital to ensure that you input the correct information for each gateway.

PART 4 - SMS SETTINGS

All the SMS (Student Management System) settings will be accessible here. To navigate to this section, click on "Store Settings," then select "SMS Settings."

This section will be configured automatically by eSkilled's staff as part of the SMS-eStore integration.



The required fields to be filled in here are:

  1. SMS Client Identifier - TO identifier
  2. SMS Username - Admin Email
  3. SMS Token - Token for SMS-LMS Integration
  4. Email From Address
