How to Add a Trainer Matrix for Companies
Overview
In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a Trainer Matrix for a company, a valuable tool for tracking and managing evidence to support vocational competencies, current industry skills, VET knowledge and skills, and professional development. This guide will assist trainers and Student Management System (SMS) users in ensuring all necessary documentation is organised and accessible for compliance and performance improvement.
Step Tutorial
1. From the Dashboard, go to the Companies, select your company from the dropdown, then click on the Trainer Matrix tab and click the New button.
NOTE: For the Trainer Matrix tab to appear, the company type must be set to at least Training Provider Partner. You can change this by updating the company's type under the Details tab.
2. Fill in the following information:
a. Trainer - Select a Trainer.
b. Program Code - Select the Program Code where the trainer is qualified to train.
c. Unit - Select the Unit/s where the trainer is qualified to train.
d. Expiry Date - This date indicates how long the Trainer is qualified to teach the Program and Unit(s) listed above.
e. Evidence Type - This describes how the trainer is qualified to deliver training for the related Unit(s) listed above.
f. Vocational Experience - You may list your vocational experience in the text box.
g. Attach Files - Upload files or documents that support and reinforce the qualified knowledge and skills.
Once done, click on the Save button.
3. A prompt about the successful creation of the Matrix will appear. Click the OK button to close it.
4. You should now see the recently added matrix in the list.
