Managing the Trainer Matrix through the Trainer Portal helps organisations stay compliant while streamlining trainer records. Trainers can update their qualifications, industry experience, and professional development, while administrators can assign units and verify credentials.

Regular updates ensure trainers remain qualified, with features such as document uploads and automated reminders for expiring credentials. This enhances transparency, audit readiness, and ensures that only qualified trainers deliver and assess units.
Warning
IMORTANT: The option to manage the Trainer Matrix via the Trainer Portal is not available by default. Please reach out to support via email to enable this feature.

Notes
Step Tutorial
1. Go to your Profile in the top-right corner of the portal.


2. Go to My Matrix, then click on the New button.


3. Fill in the following fields:
  1. Program Code - The unique identifier for the qualification, course, or program linked to the trainer’s competency.
  2. Unit - The specific unit of competency the trainer is qualified to deliver and assess.
  3. Expiry Date - The date when the trainer’s qualification, licence, or relevant certification expires.
  4. Evidence Type - The type of documentation used to verify the trainer’s competency (e.g., qualifications, professional development, industry currency).
  5. Vocational Experience - The trainer’s relevant industry experience, demonstrating their competency and currency in the field.
  6. Attach Files - Upload supporting documents as evidence of qualifications, industry experience, or professional development.
Once complete, click the Save button.


4. A confirmation message about the successful addition of the matrix will appear. Click OK to close it.

5. You should now see the recently added matrix in the list.
