How to Add Companies as the Parent Company (Maximise)

Overview
In this tutorial, we will show users how a parent/root company can have multiple child companies. We will walk you through how to add multiple companies within a parent company when logged in as the parent company. In the Companies tab, your companies can also view, edit, and create a hierarchy within your organisation.

NOTE: When a parent company is logged into the Company Portal, they can add their child companies only if "Allow Adding of Companies" is enabled for them.

Step Tutorial
1. From the Dashboard, go to Details, then to Related Companies, and click the Add button.

NOTE: It is important to note that the permission settings are defined at the root/parent company level (in this tutorial, Company Pty Ltd is the root company).

2. Fill in or answer the following fields:
  1. Show Student Schedules – Toggle to display Student Schedules when they log in to your SMS.
  2. Company Name – Enter the company name.
  3. Trading Name – Enter the trading name (if applicable).
  4. ACN – Enter the ACN.
  5. ABN – Enter the ABN.
  6. Street Number – Enter the street number.
  7. Street Name – Enter the street name.
  8. Suburb – Enter the suburb.
  9. Postcode – Enter the postcode.
  10. State – Select the state from the dropdown menu.
  11. Country – Select the country from the dropdown menu.
  12. Main Contact Email – Enter the main contact email.
  13. Billing Email – enter the billing email.
  14. Billing Contact Name – Enter the billing contact name.
  15. Billing Contact Phone No. – Enter the billing contact phone number.
  16. Regulated Trades – Direct Superior Name – If applicable, type in the Direct Superior Name for regulated trades.
  17. Lic No – If applicable, type in the license.
  18. Supervisor Name – enter the supervisor name.
  19. Supervisor Contact Phone No. – Enter the supervisor’s contact number.
  20. Custom Theme – Select a theme from the dropdown menu.
Once done, scroll to the top of the page and click the Save button.


3. A prompt will appear confirming the successful creation of the company. Click the OK button to close it.
