How to Change the Student Group/Intake

Idea
Overview
This tutorial will show how you change or update the group of a specific student enrolment in the SMS. When a student is enrolled in the SMS, they can be moved from one group to another from the Units tab on the enrolment wizard.

Warning
IMPORTANT
It is important to note that the group that they will be moved to should be under the same Program Instance and the units are integrated to the same LMS Courses to retain progress and course completion.

Step Tutorial
  1. Go to Students and select the specific student.
  2. Navigate to Enrolments tab.
  3. Click the Action drop-down button and select Edit.



  4. Click the Continue button until you reach the Units tab.



  5. Select the first unit and click the Action button. Then, click Edit.



  6. Click the current group where the unit belongs to.
  7. Select the group where the unit will be moved to



  8. Click on the check button to save your changes.



  9. If needed, repeat the same steps for the rest of the units.
  10. Click Submit to save all changes.
That's it! You have changed your student group.
