How to Change the Student Group/Intake

Overview
This tutorial will show how you change or update the group of a specific student enrolment in the SMS. When a student is enrolled in the SMS, they can be moved from one group to another from the Units tab on the enrolment wizard.

IMPORTANT: It is important to note that the group that they will be moved to should be under the same Program Instance and the units are integrated to the same LMS Courses to retain progress and course completion.

Step Tutorial
1. From the sidebar menu, go to Students then search and select a student. Navigate to Enrolments tab then click the Action button of an enrolment and select Edit.

2. In the
Edit Enrolment window, click the
Continue button until you reach the
Units tab.
Once you're on the Units tab, select the first unit and click the Action button. Then, click Edit.
3. Under the Group column, click the drop-down list and select the group to which the unit will be moved.

Once done, click on the
check button to save your changes.

Repeat the same steps for the rest of the units, if needed.
4. Click the Continue button until you reach the last tab of the Edit Enrolment window. Make sure to click Submit to save all the changes made to the enrolment.
That's it! You have changed your student group.
