How to Create a Concession for Contracts (VIC)

In this tutorial, we will discuss how to create a concession for contracts (VIC).

Step Tutorial
1. From the Dashboard, go to Finance, then Contracts, then Concessions, and click the New button.


2. Fill in the following information:

NOTE: Fields marked with a red asterisk are mandatory.
  1. State – Select VIC.
  2. Active – Turn this on to make the concession available for use.
  3. Type – Identify whether it is a Waiver or a Concession. If it is a waiver, the category and concession amount will have a fixed value and will not be editable.
  4. Name – Add the concession’s name.
  5. Category – Identify whether it is a Rate or a Discount.
  6. Description – Add a brief description.
  7. Concession Amount – Add a concession amount. Select between percentage or AUD.
  8. Maximum Concession Amount – If applicable, add a maximum concession amount.
  9. Fee Exemption/Concession ID – If applicable, select a fee exemption/concession id from the dropdown.
  10. Fee Exemption Waiver – If applicable, add a fee waiver contribution. This is only available when you select Waiver as the concession type.
Once done, click on the Save button.


3. A prompt will appear confirming the successful creation of the concession. Click the OK button to close it.
