How to Create a Funding Source (QLD)

Funding sources are the various sources of financial support that are used to cover the costs associated with providing vocational education and training programs.

NOTE:

Funding source codes are state-reported information. Please ensure that all your AVETMISS data and state reporting for funded contracts have the correct funding source codes. 

For QLD, we will be using the following information for creating the funding source template.

Steps Tutorial

1. Go to FinanceContracts > Funding Sources > then click New.

 

2. Fill in the following fields:

  1. Code - Enter the applicable code for the funding source.
  2. Name - Type in the name of the funding source.
  3. Funding Source State - Select the appropriate state. For this tutorial, we will select QLD.
  4. Funding Source National – Select the applicable option from the drop-down list.
  5. Description - Type the description for this funding source.

Click Save.

NOTE:

  1. You can search your funding sources by clicking on the Search Funding Source field box.
  2. Click on the Action button to Edit or Delete an existing funding source.
  3. You can also click on the column headers to sort the column names in ascending or descending order.


That's it! You've successfully created a funding source for the state of Queensland (QLD)!
