How to Create a Funding Source Template (VIC)

Overview

In this tutorial, we will walk you through the process of creating a funding source template specifically for the state of Victoria within the Student Management System (SMS). This template will help ensure that funding information is correctly configured and aligned with state-specific requirements.

Step Tutorial

1. From the sidebar menu, navigate to Finance, then Contracts. Click on Funding Sources and then tick New.

A pop-up window will appear.

2. In the New Funding Source window, enter values to the following fields:

1. Code – Enter the funding source code.
2. Name – Enter the funding source name.
3. Funding Source State – Select VIC from the dropdown.
4. Funding Source National – Select the funding source national from the dropdown, if applicable.
5. Description - Enter a description for your funding source.
   

NOTE: Enable the Active toggle to make the funding source available. 

Once done, click on the Save button.

3. You will be notified of the successful creation of the funding source. Click the OK button to close the window.

You should now see the newly added funding source in the list.
