How to Delete a Program Instance Unit with Existing Enrolments

Overview

In this tutorial, we will show users how to delete a unit in a program instance that has existing enrolmentsWe will walk you through on how you can duplicate the program instance and delete the unit from there. We will also show how you can stop accepting enrolments from the current program instance and accept enrolments from the duplicated program instance. Moreover, we will also show how to manually delete the unit or units from your student enrolments.

Step Tutorial
1. From Programs, go to Program Instances.
2. Select the program instance that you would like to delete.

3. In the Enrolment Form, you can opt to disable Accepting Enrolments to prevent incoming students in enroling in your current program instance. 



4. In the Groups tab of the current program instance , navigate through each group and disable Accepting Enrolments






5. In the Program Instance Details, click Duplicate to copy the current Program Instance.
6. Enter the Program Instance Name. It must be distinct from the current program instance to make it recognisable.

7. In the Units tab of the duplicated/new program instance, delete the unit.






8. In the Groups tab of the duplicated/new program instance, create your Groups for enrolments. 


9. In the Students tab of your current/original program instance, navigate through each student. 



10. In the student's Enrolments tab, go to the actual enrolment. 
11. Click Edit from the Action drop-down menu.

12. Click Continue until you reach the Units tab in the enrolment wizard. 



13. Select the unit and select Delete from the Action drop-down menu. Alternatively, you can remove/delete the unit from the Student Units tab.
