How to Generate and Review Activity Logs Report in the SMS

Overview
In this tutorial, we will discuss how to generate and review the activities that took place within the SMS through the Activity Logs report. This will help your organisation ensure system security and data integrity. The Activity Logs records all user activities across the system.

Step tutorial
1. From the Dashboard, go to Reports, then Activity Logs.
2. Narrow down your results by maximising the following filters:
- Date From – Specify the start date.
- Date To – Specify the end date.
- Object Types – Identify the object type (e.g., Student, Complaints, Appeals).
- Activity Types – Identify the activity type (e.g., Add, Edit).
Once done, click the "Search" button.
You should now see the results based on the filters you used. Review the report based on the activities you want to see.
3. You can specify how many entries should be shown on a page by selecting from the dropdown.
4. You can also filter using these search fields to narrow down your report.
5. You also have the option to export the report. Note that the report will be saved in .xlsx file format.
