Overview
A Statement of Attainment in the Vocational Education and
Training (VET) industry is an official document that acknowledges the
completion of one or more accredited units, but not a full qualification. It
serves as proof that an individual has achieved specific competencies or
subjects within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). The Statement of
Attainment is crucial as it allows individuals to receive recognition for
partial completion of a course, which can be used for employment, further education,
or licensing purposes.
This tutorial will guide users on how to issue a Statement
of Attainment to a student.
Step Tutorial
Issuing Statement of Attainment
1. From the dashboard menu, go to Students >
search and select the student > then go to Enrolments tab.
2. In the Student Enrolments table, select the enrolment checkbox
for which you wish to issue a Statement of Attainment by ticking the box.
If the selected enrolment has any units of competencies with
final outcomes, a Statement of Attainment can be issued, and the button for
Statement of Attainment will become available.
IMPORTANT: For enrolments that are Nationally
Recognised Training but have at least one related unit that is NOT
accredited (VET flag = No), the Unaccredited Certificate button
will appear alongside the Statement of Attainment.
Conditions:
- If Statement of Attainment/Preview
Statement of Attainment is ticked, the SOA will only display unit/s that is/are
accredited (VET Flag = YES).
- If Unaccredited Certificate/Preview Unaccredited
Certificate is ticked, the SOA will only display unit/s that is/are NOT accredited
(VET Flag = NO).
NOTE: For Nonaccredited Programs, ALL units
will display regardless of VET Flag.

Attainment button.

attainment, with all the students details except the SOA Number will display

users can download a copy of the Statement of Attainment ready for printing. To
do this, click on the Statement of Attainment button.
This will download a copy of the Statement of Attainment
similar to the Preview version, with the SOA number already filled with the
actual number.
Email a Statement of Attainment
Users also have the option to directly email a copy of the
Statement of Attainment to a student, providing students a copy of their SOA as
an email attachment.
1. To issue the SOA via email, click on the Action button
then click Email.
This will open the Send Student Email window. Users
can compose a new message or use custom email templates if available. Complete
the following fields:

- CC - Enter an email address in the
carbon copy field to send a copy of the email to other required recipients.

email message. Available fields can be used to customise the email content.
