How to Navigate to My Tasks and Taking Task

How to Navigate to My Tasks and Taking Task

Idea
Overview

Users within the organisation that have been assigned a task will be notified through the SMS.

In this tutorial, we will demonstrate how to view, take, and complete your assigned tasks from the My Tasks section. You'll learn how to efficiently manage your task list, track your progress, and ensure timely completion of all assignments.

InfoNOTE: You need Admin access before you can perform this action.

Notes
Step Tutorial

1. From anywhere in the SMS page, you can go to My Tasks by clicking the notification icon in the upper right corner of the screen or by clicking the profile icon and selecting "My Tasks.

Under My Tasks, you will see the different tasks assigned to you or to your organisational unit. Tasks are either Open, In Progress, Overdue or in Completed status.

2. To take a task that is assigned to an organisational unit where you belong, select the task and click View.

From the pop-up window, click Take Task. Then click OK to confirm action.

3. To complete this task, select Completed from Status. If there is a checklist associated to the task, click each completed item. Then click Save.

You will notice that the previously overdue task is now under your Completed tasks.

InfoNOTE:
  1. You can repeat the same process for other tasks. The steps may differ slightly depending on the status you select after taking the task—whether it's Open, In Progress, or Completed.
  2. In addition to updating the task status, you have the option to drag and drop a task from one status category to another. This feature provides a quick and intuitive way to manage your tasks and keep your workflow organised. However, please note that this drag-and-drop functionality is not available for tasks that contain a Checklist. If a task includes a Checklist, you will need to update its status through other available method.

That's it! You have now the ability to navigate to My Tasks and take tasks.
