How to Preview Certificate and Statement of Attainment

How to Preview Certificate and Statement of Attainment

Idea
Overview
With the introduction of the Preview Certificate/Statement of Attainment (SOA) feature, you can now easily review certificates directly from the Students page. This enables you to verify that the certificates meet your standards and requirements before finalising them for issuance.

By following this tutorial and using the Preview Certificate/SOA feature, you can streamline the certificate verification process, minimise errors, and enhance overall efficiency in managing student records. This feature adds value to the Enrolment tab by allowing users to preview certificates directly from a student's enrolment details, making it easier to confirm that all information is accurate and complete.

Warning
IMPORTANT:
  1. Make sure that the student is eligible for certificate issuance before going through this process.
  2. If Require USI Check for SOA and Cert is enabled, you can only preview Certificates and Statements of Attainment if the student’s USI has been verified. If this setting is disabled, you can preview these documents regardless of whether the student has a USI.

  1. During the preview, you'll notice that the Certificate Number is labeled as "PREVIEW" instead of the actual certificate number. This distinguishes the preview certificate from official certificates issued. Only when the certificate is issued that it will have the actual certificate number.

Notes
Step Tutorial
1. From the sidebar menu, go to the Students, search and select a student, then click on the Enrolments tab. In the Student Enrolments table, click the Action button for the enrolment you wish to preview, and select Certificates.

All available documents associated with the student’s enrolment will appear in the Certificates pop-up window.

2. To preview a certificate, tick the checkbox for Certificate. This will display the corresponding buttons. Click Preview to view the certificate.

A PDF file will automatically be downloaded to your device.

3. You can follow the same steps to preview a Statement of Attainment by selecting Statement of Attainment instead.
