How to Send Text Messages from the SMS

Overview

In this tutorial, we will discuss how we can send text messages to students from the Student Management System.

NOTE: This is a paid add-on feature of the SMS. If you’re interested in this feature, please contact our support team at support@eskilled.com.au.

Step tutorial

1. From the Dashboard, navigate to Reports, then select Enrolment.

2. We can maximise the filters to display a specific list of students.  

NOTE: We can refer to this tutorial How to Generate Enrolment Report in SMS.

3. We should now see the list of students based on the filters we’ve set. Select the number of students we’d like to display per page from the dropdown menu.

4. Select the specific student who needs to receive a text message by ticking the checkbox(es).

NOTE: We can select multiple students by ticking the checkboxes adjacent to the Student IDs. The selected students will be automatically highlighted.

5. Scroll up the page, and new buttons will become available. Click on "Send SMS".

6. A prompt will appear, allowing us to enter a message. Type in the message we want to send, then click the "Send SMS message" button.

7. Another prompt will appear confirming the successful sending of the text message. Click the "OK" button.

And that’s how we can successfully send a text message from the SMS.
