This tutorial explains how to set a Training Plan for an enrolment that is not linked to any contract. This update introduces a flexible way for RTOs to manage Training Plans even when a contract is not in place. Once enabled in Super Admin, users will have access to new Training Plan options in Document Templates, Program Instance Workflows, and within Student Enrolments.
NOTE: This feature is only available if Training Plan Only is enabled in your SMS. If you’re unsure whether your account has access, please coordinate with our support team so they can check this for you.
1. Go to Administration > Templates > Documents . A new report type called Training Plan will be available. This allows the RTO to create or manage custom Training Plan templates.
2. In Programs > Program Instances > Workflows, a new tab labelled Training Plan will appear, containing a dropdown menu that displays all Document Templates with their Report Type set to Training Plan, with only templates associated with the logged-in RTO being shown.
3. When an enrolment belongs to a Program Instance that has a Training Plan set, go to Students > Enrolments and open the Action dropdown, where a Training Plan option will be available for selection, allowing the user to access or generate the assigned Training Plan for the student.
Above are the steps on how to set a training plan for non-contract related program instance.
Congratulations on completing this tutorial. We hope this has been helpful to you and your organisation. For any questions or concerns regarding this function, please reach out to the contact support via email.
