Label mapping allows organisations to rename standard system field labels so they better reflect their own internal terminology, without changing how the system works behind the scenes. While the system uses consistent default terms, different organisations may prefer alternative language that is more familiar to their staff and learners. By applying a label mapping, the field label displayed on forms—such as an Enrolment Form—will show the customised term instead of the default. This ensures users see terminology that aligns with how the organisation operates, improving clarity and reducing confusion during data entry and enrolment processes. The underlying data structure remains unchanged, with only the visible labels updated in the user interface.

Step Tutorial
1. From the Dashboard, go to Administration, then Templates, then Enrolment Form, then Label Mapping, and click on the Plus button.
2. A modal will pop up, allowing you to select the field you want to change, as well as the label you would like it to be renamed to. Enter the required values, then click the Save button.
For this example, we will change “Intake” to “Class Group”. Select Intake from the Field dropdown, then enter “Class Group” in the Label field.
3. When you open any enrolment form, you will notice that the previous term “Intake” has now been updated to “Class Group”.
The above are the steps on how to use Label Mapping.
