Overview
You can monitor your students' attendance using the Student
Management System (SMS). This feature allows you to view and generate
attendance report. Please note that only scheduled training sessions are
recorded.
In this tutorial, we will guide you through creating an
attendance report in SMS. Additionally, you can use this feature to send
attendance-related emails to students. The system also enables you to save and
export your reports for further use.
Step Tutorial
1. To generate an attendance report, from the sidebar menu, go
to Reports > Attendance tab > then click New.
2. Type the Name of the report. If set
to Default, this report will display every time you
open the Attendance Report page.
Once done, click Save.
4. Set your parameters using the Date Range drop-down
menu. You can also filter your report by selecting specific dates in the Start
Date and End Date fields.
Additionally, you may include Withdrawn, Cancelled, or
Deferred students by clicking the checkbox.
Once the parameters are set, click Search.
5. You can narrow down the generated report by using
the inline filters available in each column.
6. Click the Export button to download the
report to your computer. You can open it using any application that
supports Microsoft Excel Worksheet files (.xlsx)
Microsoft Excel.
7. If you need to send an email to all the students listed
in the report, click the Email students below button located next
to the Search button. A pop-up window will appear.
In the pop-up window, type a Subject for
your email and compose your message in the provided space. You can
customise your email using the available fields.
Once finished, click Send Email.
And that’s how to use the attendance report feature in
the SMS!
