Overview
In the Student Management System (SMS), the Claims section is where you can manage financial claims related to student funding, payments, and reimbursements. This tab serves as a central hub for managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records for auditing and reporting purposes.

In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to view this section.

Step Tutorial
1. From the sidebar menu, go to Finance then click Claims tab.


2. The Claims tab displays a table showing all the claims recorded in the system.
The following actions can be performed in this tab:
  1. Export – Allows you to generate an Excel file containing the data displayed in the table.
  2. Show Claims – Select which claims to display: All, Not Paid, Paid, or Not Calculated.
  3. Search – Enables users to search for a specific claim.
  4. Table Headers – You can rearrange the list by clicking on the header of each column.
  5. Expand button – Clicking this button reveals additional details related to the claims.

Additionally, you can tick the checkbox under Is Paid column for each claim if needed. You may also enter data in the Adjusted Payment column.

Once you have finished updating these sections, make sure to click Save.
