Overview

Attendance emails triggered by student absences ensure timely communication by promptly notifying students about their attendance status. This helps students stay informed and take necessary actions regarding their attendance.

In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through the process of setting up attendance emails that are triggered based on the number of recorded absences.

1. From the sidebar menu, go to Administration > select Templates > then click Attendance Emails tab.


2. The Attendance Emails page displays blank fields that can be customised with the content you wish to include.

  1. Absent total – you can select from 1 to 10.
  2. Email subject – enter the email subject you would like to set for total number of absences.
  3. Email body – enter the email content that will be sent to the student for each absence. You can use the available fields to customise the email.

Once done, click Update Message.
