How to Record an Appeal in the SMS
Overview
In this tutorial, we’ll be discussing the steps on how to successfully lodge an appeal in the SMS.
Step tutorial
1. From the Dashboard, navigate to Compliance, then select Appeals.
2. Click the "New" button to lodge a new appeal.
3. Complete the required fields:
- Name of Appellant – Enter the name of the appellant.
- Date – Select the date we received the appeal.
- Date of Assessment Decision – Add the date of the assessment decision.
- Unit Code – Enter the unit code.
- Unit Name – Enter the unit name.
- Assessor Concerned – Identify the assessor concerned.
- Reason for Appeal – Provide the reason for the appeal.
- Outcomes Sought – Specify the outcomes the student is seeking.
- How to Improve – Include any suggestions for improvement related to the appeal.
- Reviewed By – Identify the person responsible for reviewing the appeal.
- Comments – Add any comments if applicable.
- Document Hyperlink – Upload any documents related to the appeal.
Once completed, click on the “Create” button.
4. We should now be able to see the appeal we created.
And that is how we can successfully lodge an appeal in the SMS.
