How to Customise Fees for Individual Students

Overview

This tutorial will show users how to add/edit Resources and Other type fees using the Enrolment Wizard. This functionality allows the inclusion of certain fees tailored to specific students.

There are two ways to edit your student's fees: 
  1. During manual enrolment via the Enrolment Wizard
  2. After enrolment, in Students > Financial Tab > Fees

How to Add Student Fees During Manual Enrolment

1. From the sidebar menu, go to Students > search and select a student > go to Enrolments tab > click New.


InfoNOTE: During manual enrolment, you can add Student Fees (Resource or Other), but you cannot change existing program fees.


2. Fill in the Enrolment details so you can proceed with the Payment section.

 

3. In the Payment section under Student Fees, click New.

 

4. In the pop-up window, select Fee Type: Resource or Other > add fee Description > enter Amount > indicate if GST is charged or not, then click Save.

Once done, click Continue to move forward with the enrolment.

Warning
IMPORTANT

  1. Only Resource and Other fee types can be added when manually enroling a student.
  2. Once added, Resource and Other fees will be displayed at the bottom of the Student Fees data table with an Action button where users can edit or delete the additional fees. 
  3. Fees that were set at the Program Instance level cannot be edited or deleted. See image below where the Action button only appears for the newly added Resource Fee via the Enrolment Wizard.



How to Add or Edit Student Fees After Enrolment

1. From the sidebar menu, go to Students > search and select a student > go to Financial tab > go to Fees subtab > then click New.


2. Fill in the following fields:

  • Pick the related Enrolment ID No. of the fee that you are adding
  • Add a short Description of the fee
  • Indicate the Fee Type
  • Enter the fee Amount
  • Indicate if GST is charged or not.

Once done, click Save


Repeat the steps until you have added or edited all your student fees.
