Digital Docs works like a typical word processors used for creating, editing, formatting and printing text documents. It also has the capability to send the documents directly to the selected entity via email, publish it for signature or be exported as a PDF.
In this tutorial, we will show you how to sign published documents for signing when logged in as your student account in the SMS.
Note: This exclusive feature is only available for Maximise Package subscribers. Unlock the full potential of your SMS with the Maximise Package. To upgrade your plan and access this feature, please reach out to the contact support via email.Step Tutorial
1. Log-in to your account. From the Dashboard, go to Agreements.
2. Find the relevant agreement and click on the Signature icon under the Sign column.
3. The published document will open in a new page where you can find the signature field. Click on the Signature Field.
4. A small window will open where you can either digitally sign or upload your signature; if you choose to digitally sign, use a mouse pointer or digital pen to place your signature in the signature box. If needed, you may clear the box and try again. Once you've signed or uploaded a signature image file, click Apply to save your signature into the document.
NOTE: You may also see Name and Signature Date fields, which appear depending on the document setup. Please note that the Signature Date is automatically generated and cannot be edited—it reflects the exact date you signed the document.
5. Once done, scroll to the bottom of the document and click Submit.
IMPORTANT: Alternatively, you may receive an email notification that allows you to sign the document externally without logging into your account. Simply click the Sign Now button in the email—this will open a new tab where you can follow steps 3 to 5 as outlined above.
These are the steps on how to digitally sign documents as a student.
